Cockatoo - Medium - Adult - Male - Bird - Barney
Description
Barney is an @ 15-16 year old DNA-sexed male Goffins Cockatoo. He is severely plucked. He lived in a greenhouse and was very neglected. We have had him vet checked and he is now on a good diet. He is learning to play with toys and is in an appropriately sized cage. He is slightly cage aggressive but wonderful away from the cage. He loves to sit on your shoulder and preen your hair. His adoption fee is negotiable to the right home. Our Adoption Coordinator will then be in touch with you. We are located in RIchfield, WI and do not ship. Update: We did radiographs on Barney, and found that he has heart disease (bloodwork also). So we will add Barney to our special needs list. He is on no medication right now but his diet must be strictly monitored. His heart is very enlarged.
