Sony's amazing MEX-5DI CD receiver has a truly radical in-dash display! Its ultra-high-resolution color TFT screen offers several operating modes:

You can play music on your MagicGate™ Memory Sticks (ATRAC3 format) through the slot also. You can even store a favorite image for up to 100 discs, so the CD jacket appears on your display as the disc plays!

Built-in high-pass and low-pass filters let you split the frequencies in a subwoofer-equipped system for more clarity and punch.

Adjusting the tone contour to match your vehicle's acoustics is a snap with Sony's EQ7. Seven preset EQ curves get you in the ballpark, and 7 bands of equalization fine-tune the sound to perfection.

G-Protection keeps the tunes rolling on rough roads. Sony combined a memory buffer with a motorized tray and disc-gripping spindle for skip-free music — the tray slides in and out just like the one on your home CD player.
